L4400 3ph lift only??

As a new player with a new toy, I was wondering if it is normal for my 3ph to have no down pressure. With the control at the lowest point, I can lift the lift arms. Is this normal a) for L4400, b) other brands?

If normal, I suppose the weight of the implement is what drives equipment into the dirt.

Yes they ONLY lift. Gravity does the rest. And yes, with the arms lowered, you can lift them by hand.

As tydp said there is now down pressure on the 3 ph, just the weight of the implement brings it down.

You'll be happy that they lift easily by hand when you're hooking up implements.

Yes they until you get one side hooked and and need about another inch to raise to get it on the pin.
