I am looking into a used tractor for replacing a bobcat around the farm. I do not have much expierence with Kubota's but have found a good looking 4350 with only 600 hrs on it. It has a shuttle trans, but I do not know what this really means(only have had geared tractors in the past). i will be using it for light bush hogging, trail maintence, a bit of skidding wood and hopefully will put a grapple attachement on at times. The bobcat is just not used enough and I have a track loader for the large jobs around here. I have read a few good things about the 4350, but I don't seem to see many for sale to get a good idea of cost. The one I am looking at is $14k any help or insight on the model would be appreciated.

I have one as well, a tank of a tractor. It is a gear drive with hi/lo range. The shuttle shift usually is hydraulic, at least mine is. You may have the everclutch as well which is a wet clutch. Should have an LA950 loader on it. Again, a very tough tractor. Just make sure you check the shuttle for good forward and reverse action, they can be expensive to repair.

thanks for all the info so far. The tractor seems to be in good condition, and everything looks right, but I have no idea how to check the shuttle(Which it does have to left of the seat). How exactly would I go about this? also is adding a quick connect to the loader difficult? currently it just has a fixed bucket.
