L4310 hydraulic problem

Hey guys. I was b'hogging my property today with my L4310, and after two hours, I could no longer raise or lower the mower. The hydraulic fluid quantity is OK, and I've got 200 hrs on the filters. That's also the total time on the tractor, a 2000.
It has been stored all winter. There were no warning lights. There was just a sudden decrease in the force required to raise or lower the handle, and the hydraulics don't raise or lower it. I checked the linkage, and what's visible outside the housing is OK.
After I shut it down, the mower lowers about three inches as the pressure bleeds off. When I start it up, it goes up to that position, but cannot be moved further. I did kill two mice that popped out after I was cutting for about one half hour.
Any ideas on where to start t'shooting?

Don't know about that model, but prior experience with a B series would make me first check to make sure the joystick for the FEL is centered. I'd just wiggle it around a bit to make sure it's centered because that was the only problem I ever found when my 3-point wouldn't raise.

Try adjusting the drop rate knob under your seat. Maybe it worked itself closed(?) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Do you a have a remote hydraulic outlet on the rear? When mine is "blocked" open/activated, the 3ph position control won't raise on mine.

Problem solved. Thanks for the inputs guys. I had to go to So. America for a few days so I couldn't get right back.
I took the access panel underneath the seat off today. The elevation handle for the hitch connects to a shaft which goes into the hydraulic system, no doubt to position a up/down port.
A pin goes through the shaft, connecting this shaft to the elevation handle. The pin was sticking out the bottom, but not going through the shaft. I tapped it in, which reconnected the shaft with the handle, and magically, everything is fine now. Fortunately for me, the mower was in the perfect cutting position when the pin slipped, so I was able to finish the job prior to having time to t'shoot. Better lucky than smart.
