L4200 3pt lever creep

While operating my tractor this past weekend, I noticed the 3ph lever tended to creep toward the down position a half-number or so while pulling my landscape rake. The 3ph has position control and it usually stays exact when I set a position, the lever also seems 'looser' than it was.

I found a little rubber tube where I park my tractor a couple of weeks ago - maybe an inch long and 3/8" wide. I wonder if something fell off that was important.

Easy - on the lever's shaft there's a nut and a jam nut for setting how much "drag" the lever has. They need adjusting now and then as the cupped washers wear.
