I'm picking up a 1986 L4150 4x4 with a BF 900 loader on Monday that I put a deposit on yesterday. I purchased the machine from the original owner with only 1246 hours on machine. Everything works on this machine 100% and it looks to have been extreamly well maintained. All the sheet metal is perfect with original paint...some surface rust here and there but nothing that bad. Tires are 75% or better. It also has a york rake attached. The owner has all the service books and manuals too.
All fluids are very clean. Only real issue I see and owner pointed out is a small leak where 6 X 6 block with four bolts is attached under the machine where it looks like a shaft runs front to back. (Not sure what you would call it) He said he had someone fix it awhile back but it wasnt done right and still leaks some. Looks like its an easy fix and maybe just a gasket.
Also the battery light is lit on the dash. But machine started right up with no issues. Maybe needs an alt. ? Bad wire?
Other than those 2 issues everything else is dry and super clean. Everything I have read on this machine has been very positive and It looks like this is one of the better models that Kabota built.
Now...for the good part. I paid $8,000 for this machine.
Thoughts???
Thanks
Scott
