L4060 Wiper Blade

Good Morning,

Can anyone tell me what size the wiper blade is on an L4060 HST with cab? I measured at 16". Will a standard replacement arm from an auto parts store work? Kubota wants 50.00 just for the blade!

Welcome to the forum. Front or back. I changed both of mine and I went with the beam type instead of the metal frames since we have freezing winters here. they were not from kubota. I just don't remember the type of mount off hand.

I actually just ran to Walmart and replaced mine. Was getting my tractor cleaned up from summer work and ready for winter.

My front wiper is 18". The rear wiper was a 12" but it's really a little too small. I installed a 14" on the rear. There's plenty of glass for the 14" wiper.

This is on a L5740 which should be the same.

I bought the cheapest wiper blade. Michelin blades with a simple J-style attachment were $7 each. Don't really need anything aerodynamic or over-engineered.

If your tractor has a shorter blade you can still pick up a new wiper for MUCH less than what the Kubota dealer is trying to sell you. The 18" blade on mine goes over to the edge of the glass when it's in the down / parked position. Shorter will work, just wipes less glass.

I would take your blade in to some place like wally world and
see if you can match it.
