Went over to my neighbors house...heard his tractor running. Have not seen his tractor for a while...told me he was working it one day and after he parked it for about 6 hours, it caught itself on fire. Took it to the Kubota dealer and after 3 months and 10 grand he finally got it back. He thinks critters got into the control panel, built a nest then proceeded to chew up his wiring....fried the back half all the way up to the steering wheel....canopy and all....up in flames. Thing had less than 50 hours on it....sad.....

When it's all said and done, he probably will have been beter off if it had burnt to the ground. Machines heavily damaged by fire are usually nothing but trouble until they are scrapped.
