For some time now I have had to wiggle the forward/reversed pedal to start the tractor. Now it is really struggling to start...if at all. I just replaced the hydrolic fluid as it has 407 hours. Also for some time the seat safety switched has shut the tractor of if I get off the tractor when PTO not engaged. I assume I need a new switch. But any ideas on the starting issue?

That petal also has a a center switch on it that will not allow it to start if the petal is not in neutral area.

Yes, what art said *plus* if the HST pedal isn't centered (according to the HST safety switch) the engine will also cut off when you get out of the seat. So it's probably the cause of both problems.

So I think you need to fix or replace the safety switch on the HST pedal, and it will solve both problems. Your seat safety switch is likely fine.

Boys, can't thank you enough. Was not the switch per say, just needed adjustment down. And yes the seat works fine, thank you so much for the quick reply.
