There is a simple answer

Metal valve stems, the quality tire shops I visit use these on truck tires due to a higher psi rating, they also stay in the hole better.

Don't forget to check the size of the hole, I believe there are 2 available sizes.

The power line guys came thru our place once and when they cut the saplings they cut them all at a sharp slant instead of flat. I had to follow them around and cut them off flat for the sake of my tires.

saplings are no joke. I had a dog that went running and came back with a long gaping chest gash from running over a sapling:shocked: Tough dog, she acted as if nothing was wrong other than licking it. Big vet bill and she had a "party hat" for weeks
