Oil & Fuel L3750 Hydraulic Filter question

I have an 88 L3750. THe Hydraulic filter that is on the tractor is Kubota Grey with the 15/16 nut made onto the filter. According to my manual and the Kubota website the replacement is a 36330-82630. That filter from my dealer will not fit. It is longer, larger diameter and the whole in the center is larger. After hours now of course so it will be Monday before I can get a new filter. Does anyone have any experience with this and can maybe shed some light?

Using Messick's web site as a reference. The p/n is the same as you indicated, but the picture shows the nut (wrenching detail) on the bottom as you described. Could the box be mislabeled?

Wix does not cross reference the p/n, but they do have a listing for your tractor. You can check the dimensional detail to see if it matches your old filter. Part Detail
