L3710 front axle seal replacement

have a L3710 4wd that front seals leak. have the hub off and looks like i may need a big clam shell puller to pull the ring gear. can i cut the bearing against the ring gear for easier removal ? thanks

I've replaced the front axle seals in my L3710, I did not pull the ring gear. I did need to upgrade my snap ring pliers. You'll need internal and external snap ring pliers. Should take less than an hour per side.
