L3540HST service question-short

I just did me 3240 a month ago and it was my 1st time. Yes there is one magnet to deal with on the hydrualic filter and it actually stayed on the machine when I pulled the filter off and didn't notice til I went to put the new one on. I lost a little more fluid then I excepted but it was my 1st time. You will be fine and good luck.

Thanks for all the info!It may not happen this weekend,but next weekend for sure.I'll prep our own tractor for winter duties if his is a no-show.
I'l plug the fill/vent as well and with filter ready,expecting a tight filter or two and bucket ready underneath.Plenty of fluids on hand if things go bad.I must have 7 gallons of SUDT2,3 gallons of SUDT,more than a gallon of UDT,and some other tractor fluids as well.Geez-I'm a tractor junkie!I'll be fine.Will post back if you desired.Thans again.
