I have a temporary switch I added to bypass the seat switch. I suggest if you are thinking of disconnecting the switch you add a second switch so you can have the safety of the switch when needed and not be an issue when you don't need it.
For me it was the diff lock. Pushing down on it too often leads to the engine shutting off so I "fixed" the problem.
