Howdy,
Just took delivery of a brand new L3540 HST. What a beautiful machine! Couldn't be happier!
I haven't done a whole lot with it so far as I'm waiting on a grapple to show up, but I have done a little driving around and pushing piles of brush, etc.
I've noticed that there's a clicking noise when I'm just starting to move, both forward and reverse, but it doesn't happen every time. It doesn't look like anything in the 3pt hitch is moving around enough to be capable of making the noise- sounds a bit more mechanical, but it's definitely coming from underneath my seat. It does it in 2wd and 4wd. With the tractor off I grabbed the PTO shaft and turned it by hand and it made a similar noise, for what it's worth.
Anyone else have this experience? Know what it could be? Thanks for reading!
