Extend the boom out behind you on the ground. Push down a bit. Pull 2 levers in upper mount.Be sure they lock.Pick boom up to swivel lower mount back so they can be lifted out by the outriggers. Shut off tractor and disconnect hoses. Couple the 2 ends on the tractor together to make the 3 point hitch work. Takes about 5 minutes after the first time.

new here and love the L35! just got it from my neighbor and want the rear scrapper on...is there any links to show this backhoe removal process ?? thanks

Go on YouTube. I don't know if anyone did a video of a L35 hoe removal, but there is one for a BX24 removal--same church, smaller pew.

I am not sure how the L35 works but I do have a B21 and L39. The one thing I would advise is to start spraying the backhoe attachment points/pins/levers with penetrating oil. I like PB Blaster. Many times the hoe does not get removed from these machines and tends to get stuck to the attachment points with age. If you can post a photo I am sure we can figure it out if someone else with one doesn't jump in.
