L3400HSD delivery day

At last the day is near. Getting my new tractor Saturday at noon. My dealer had the tractor in stock (still in the crate), but had to get the LA463 FEL. Also getting the Woods BB60X 5' brush cutter and the Kubota 1000lb ballast box. Gonna be tough to sleep to night. This is my first tractor so I hope I picked the right one.

Well, I think for your first one you won't have any regrets. Thats a very nice setup, I know you will enjoy. DOn't forget the pics for us to enjoy....we need pics of that fresh orange paint...pics..pics..pics-ENJOY !!!

Unless you live in the woods, you'll need a lot of sun screen 'cause you won't even notice your getting burned while your checking out and admiring your new tractor. Don't ask how I know

congrats. i've had my 3400 for about a year now and i'm up to my 50hr service. the amount of work i get done with it is incredible. i have 3 acres that used to be mostly woods. slowly being tranformed into a nice clean landscaped piece. the size is perfect for most jobs. the only task that pushes it's limit is stump removal. as i'm in mostly clay i sometimes need the 4 wheel drive vehicle to get a stump out of the hole. other than that, it's been a beast. enjoy!

congrats! my '06 3400 just reached 63 hours. soon you'll be deciding which attachment to buy next. i recently purchased the BH75 and it's tripled the amount of "work" i can get done.

It was delivered around 2:00 Saturday. I played..errr I mean worked till near dark and put ahout 5.3 hours on it. Great machine. Used around 1/2 a tank of fuel and a lot of the time I was brush mowing, some stuff 8' high!! Sunday I had other work to do so I had to put away. The Woods BB60X is also an awsome peice of machinery. Over Labor Day, I should get to put a bunch more hours on it. So far, it has exceeded all expectations.

I'm so glad you're having so much fun. This has been a tough summer - near 100-degree temps make it tough to get out there. I sweated it out Sunday just pulling the box scraper thru the woods to freshen the horse trails. Still big fun. When I first got my tractor two years ago we had 6+-foot weeds to bushhog - that was probably the most fun I have ever had on the tractor!
