Having read all the threads about 3 point versus sub frame backhoes I am well aware of the pros and cons! Also having just bought a very nice 4690 3 pt backhoe for a price I could afford it is time to ask the question. I have ordered the reinforced 3 pt top-link bracket. My L3400 has a loader already. What else should I do to beef up the frame? What else could I do? I know how planning to baby an implement works fine until the first day in the field! Thanks in advance for you advice!

The worst that seems to be a problem for the Kubotas has been the top link reinforcement. We haven't seen the problems with the engine transmission housings breaking like with some of the other makes.

Thanks for the input! The reinforced top link is pricey but apparently worthwhile.
