What do I need to know? I am a new tractor owner. Is there anything special to keep in mind with this diesel when the temp drops? starting in cold weather?
How cold is So. Ga.? Diesel will "gel" up but I'm not sure how cold it needs to get. There is additives to prevent that. I just preheat to 10 secs. and it fires off with no problems in Va. mountains.

I wouldn't think being South Georgia you would need anything special. Up here I plug in the block heater if it is below 20f. I also run power service to prevent gelling. Above 20f I preheat for about 10 sec like TEG said and it starts right up.
If you are tifton area, not much but what teg said
If macon or farther north, and based on the temp, you may need to let it run to warm up some before running it hard....
