L3400 current quote. Attractive or not?

Wow, good price!

I just got a quote of $18,395 for L3400 HST, LA 463 w/skid steer QA & 66" bucket, industrial tires, & block heater.

Thanks, but we just sold it and moved to the mountains and got a little larger property - loved the house, and I miss my nice barn, but we got tired of living in Boulder. New house isn't anywhere near as cool, but I can always make it better, and the property is real nice. Trying to decide if I'm going to build another sweet barn, or add a big garage/workshop with office above onto the existing 3 car garage. OK, I'll stop babbling now.

You are getting a good price; however, double check on the three point that you have INFINITE POSITIONING CONTROL, and NOT the INCHING VALVE, which was installed on those tractors when first introduced to the market!! If it has the inching valve, Kubota will replace it free. You definitely don't want the inching valve when using a box scraper, or other ground engaging implements; because it becomes a PITA to get a proper height setting. It has been the biggest complaint on this board forcing Kubota to upgrade the tractors to the infinite control, when the tractors were introduced. Also, test it before taking delivery; just in case it wasn't installed.

New tractor was delivered today. That was nice. Unfortunately the dealer didn't deliver the tractor operator's manual. I hate to use the tractor without reading the manual first. This is like being a kid on Christmas morning and getting the dream gift, only to discover I can't play with it yet.

I didn't, and both my tractor and myself are still in one piece.....
