Dealer l3400 1k higher from local dealer

90 miles away dealer has 44 hour harvest return l3400 no fel r4s and weights for 12800. They will do a change oil and filter only.

Local dealer 3 miles away-Priced a brand new l3400 r4s. and weights (they didn't have rental return) again with no fel. No 50 hour free service either. They also offered to sell the 84" squeeler brush cutter to me at 2220 only if I purchase the tractor.

I have an bobcat 863 with fel so I don't really need the loader on the tractor.

I don't mind scratches.
Where do I buy?

I feel they are both priced the same considering the hours vs new.

I agree with art. $1000 is more than fair for a brand new tractor.

I would probably go brand new myself particularly if it was a local dealer who looked like they would take care of me. If they are giving you a good deal on a bush hog, all the better. See if they will throw in filters and fluids for 50 hr and do the change yourself.

BTW 50 hrs calls for a change of most fluids (oil, hydro, front axle) and 3 filters (oil, hst and hydraulic). The price of the parts alone is $300 or so. Regardless of which tractor you get, you shoud be doing all of this at 50 hrs.
