Price Check L3240 Price Check. Have they increased?

Hello all. Stopped by a dealer early LAST summer and I got a price of 21,000 for a L3240/724, Loaded R4s.

At the time, I was just "browsing" for a bigger tractor. Grabbed a flier, wrote down the quote & filed it.

Fast forward to present. I am now ready to buy. Called the same dealer and they said prices have gone up since then. (what else is new) That package is now 23,000. ($2000 increase)

Have looked around here and noticed that a year ago, the 21,000 was a reasonable ballpark number for that package. Maybe $1500 over a "great deal"

Haven't seen anything here for recent pricing though, say from Spring '09 until now. (Fall '09)

Just wondering if others can confirm this "increase".

Yes, there have been price increases but I would think with the economy like it is you can still match the original quote if you shop. Also, you might find a new L3240 that the dealer received before the price increases thus, that dealer could give you the better price. Thats what I did when I got my L3240 cab last July.

Kubota did have an increase a few months back. I know that caterpiller is raising prices 2% this week? Shop around, you may be able to find a better deal outside of taxxachusetts.

Shop around and you might be able to find an old priced 3240 it could be a little faded though

My business took a hit this year. Selling the Kubota will keep me from feeling guilty when I see my kids running around barefoot this winter.

At least we're all healthy.

you can thank the federal government for about $700 of that price increase. Its going to pay for emissions upgrades! ... just another hidden tax.
