L3200 Overheating while Mowing

My screen comes out the top, your model comes out the side... big improvement. Not that this catches all of it, it does get most and I can blow this out pretty quick.

Surely this is not a cost savings item that got deleted from the model... do other standard L's have this screen or not?

THAT does not look like it has a Screen in front of the radiator... The photo looks like JUST the radiator!!!

Did you buy this tractor new or used?

Couldn't find a photo on internet will take a photo of mine.... (see next post)
I concur. There are foam strips on the side I can see that should seal & be covered by that screen. There are 2 big round fluppy springs at the top on the sides that keep the screen from falling out. Not strong at all, but plenty to keep the screen from rattling out.

Looks like the screen is missing. My L3200 sure has one!

It is missing! But it is a cheap fix... the pre screen gives you more opportunity to stop debris before it totally clogs you rad - like in your posted pic

Pick one up for sure

Hi Guys,
... next I removed the mower and put the gannon on, thinking that the mower was causing the overheating.

I used the gannon for about 40 minutes, all the time, keeping an eye on the temp.
Tom

Alright, I give up. What is a "gannon?"
