I'm looking at a 'new' L3130 from the dealer w/ loader (think it's a 513) for 18k-the salesman says it's been in the kubota warehouse for 2yrs. a little fading on the wheels and there are a couple of scratches on teh loader. Does $18k sound good for this setup?

Is a 3130 w/ FEL to heave (in your opinion) to drive around on a customer's yard? I like the size for digging stuff (will likely pickup a backhoe in the near future) but am concerned about leaving tire marks all over any yard (running R4's). If so, would the turf tires be considerably better? I'm aware some of it is how you operate the tractor-sharp turns are more likely to dig up the turf.

I've done some research between then and now; the loader is the higher capacity loader which is important to me. I can get the tractor for $17,600-from all of the research, seems like a good price for a new kubota. Any feedback guys?

thanks for the numbers. I forgot to add that it's HST-how much does that (on average) add?
thanks!

I think it's roughly 800 to 1200 depending on dealer.

Be sure it is the 723 loader and not the 513. The 723 is needed for the backhoe mounting kit.

How strange. I wonder how that came about; the L3240 that replaced it
has been out for more than 1.5 years. ?

I'd have to agree with you there.....You can buy the new model for about the same amount of money. 2 Years is a long time not to be sold. I'd be rethinking about buying from that dealer. Where's the deal?
