I just noticed that my power steering gushes hydro fluid when the steering wheel is turned but only when the engine is off. When its running not a drop. It's probably not supposed to do this. I'm thinking o-ring. Easy fix? I have lots of car and truck experience and an awesome set of tools. Thanks.
P.s. 400 hrs on tractor

Where is the leak? I don't understand the question with the gushing?

The fluid is coming from where the shaft from the steering wheel enters the little box under the engine. It must be something related to controlling the fluid going to either the right or left wheel. I think it's the steering controller.

You hand pump will need to have new seals put in. I'm not going to say that your tractor is leaking from this but often people mounting their tractor will use the steering wheel to pull themselves onto the platform.

This will cause the problem that you are having.
