L3130 HST pedal switch location?

My l3130 isn't kicking over although the electrical system is on, dash is on, glow pug switch clicks over and the pto is disengaged. I noticed one time when I jiggled the hst pedal it kicked over for a second and then nothing. I'm pretty sure the problem must be with the hst pedal switch but I can't seem to find the pedal switch for the life of me. Can anyone make a suggestion? The tractor is a 2004 L3130HST.

First of all, Pat, shell out the hundred bucks for the manual.... lol...

Seriously, on page 9-s36.....

Clutch Pedal Switch (for HST Model)
1. Remove the Panel Cover.
2. Disconnect the clutch pedal switch connector (2).
3. Measure the resistance between connector terminals while pushing the clutch pedal switch.
4. If 0 ohm is not indicated, switch is faulty.

Problem solved!

I found that the hst pedal connects via a linkage thru the transmission to the left side of the tractor where a electro-mechanical switch is activated. I loosened the lock nut on the switch and threaded it in closer to the actuator and it now works!

Glad to have helped....

I just got a second hand 2005 L3130 this past August. Went a little over 30 hours myself; with the total now being 152.... Mostly moving firewood logs and repositioning my rock walls.

Don't know how much you plan to work on your tractor on your own.... perhaps a parts manual wouldn't be a bad idea either...

Thanks so much. Spent the weekend completely going thru the tractor, changed all filters & fluids, pressure washed it. It looks and runs great!
