Kibitz L3130
Does anyone know if the electrical system on my Kubota L3130 could handle the addition of two more spotlights tied into the headlight harness. I have a snow plow mounted on the tractor, which blocks the headlights. I would like to mount two lights on the top of the front grill guard, which would then shine over the plow. I am not for sure if the headlight switch could handle the extra load, as well as the headlight harness and electrical system. Thanks.

Not familiar with that model, but I'd go by the fuse in the circuit.

Why not just use LED lights - more light, less current draw, no issues with your electrical system.

Since the factory lights are blocked anyway... just unplug them and plug your brighter better positioned lights in... You will not miss the lights that were blocked, actually it will likely be a help not having the light from them bouncing back at you... KennyV

I agree with Kenny too but if you are worried, put them on a relay so the switch won't be supporting the current draw of the lights.

Do you have a dynamo or an alternator? 2 55 watt lamps draws about 10 amps.
