L305 rear lift capacity

I'm looking for a bigger tractor than my BX2200 to tackle the jungle at my mother's property and to move 1300 lb round bales. Can't find the lift capacity on this model. Anyone know? Thanks.

I would say about judging at models near it in the same model year, ~1500 lbs @ ends and ~750 @ 24" back.

For comparison the BX2200 can lift ~1200 @ ends, ~650 @ 24" back.

Again, these numbers are conservative. Each machine will vary on the hydraulic age, and pressure settings.

Keep in mind if you are using a 3 pt bale spear or rear mount forks to move the bales, the center of mass of the bale will be to the rear of the lift point. This means the tractor lift capacity needs to be considerably higher than the weight of the bale. As diesel85 points out, you need to look at the rating 24" back of the lift point.

Not to mention, if you start putting heavy stuff in the rear, you'll need a front ballast. Same way you'd need a rear ballast for a FEL.

It's all about keeping everything evenly distributed.

Will definitely have weights on front, had a tray built for the BX, because the box blade would actually cause me to lose traction at the front tires. Need my old MF135 for this mess.
