L3010, did I buy right

I shopped "a little" for my new kubota and found large differences in pricing. Fortunately I believe I found a "good dealer" and a "good price" in the same place. One consideration was that I wanted to stay all Kubota, tractor and implements.

Here goes with what I bought and hopefully someone can tell me if this was low, middle, or high for pricing.

L3010 HST
Add on Rear Work light
engine heater, I'm in NY
High profile pillow die turfs
loaded rears
LA482 FEL with upgraded bucket, 3 hooks, and reinforced top edge.
RC72 29A Belly mower
4690A Back Hoe with 16" bucket and 1 hook.
Curtis Front blade (attaches to FEL arms) with hydraulic angle

Damages came to$27,100.

So far the machine has been great!!

That is a dream machine! The price sounds good, considering everything that you got. The base tractor with a FEL is at least $17,500.

No pictures yet, at least not digital but I do have about 7 hours on the backhoe. I did have one issue with some nuts spinning loose (and falling off ) where the bottom of the boom attaches to the swivel frame. This part is pre assembled at the factory and according to my dealer somewhat chronic for the 4690A, they stated that they usually put a kubota loc tite on at the first service. ( I wonder why this isn't done at the factory or by the dealer before delivery?)

Otherwise the backhoe has been impressive with what it can do. I have removed 5 stumps, dugout and leveled an area for an above ground pool, dug a trench for water and electric to run 175' to the pool area, and most importantly dug out about 12" worth of gravel and clay in an area 8' X40' and replaced with top soil, manure, and mulch for a new flower bed for my wife. Probably obvious why this last job was most important! All this was accomplished in about 7 hours run time.

The good news is that our project list is still long so there should be many more enjoyable hours to come.

Overall I have 22 hours on the tractor and have had it 10 days.

Bruce, I have not had any problems with my 4690 BH. Well other than busting off a grease fitting or two. The low grand clearance is a problem working is some of the bad places I need two work... Oh one hydralic fitting where I backed into a small tree. Thanks for th update on the boom attachment bolts will give them a check....

Sounds like a WINNER!!!!! How does the backhoe work on the 3010? I have a 3010HST (Jezebel) with a Landpride rear blade and a rake. I had FEL reinforced and hooks thrown on it. She's been a hard worker but I really would like a rear mower and a backhoe. The empty wallet prohibits me from getting those extras now but in a year or 2 I'll have them. The dealer I bought my 3010 from said the 9' hoe wasn't as effective on a 3010 as it would be on a 3710. I thought he might be blowing smoke but I thought I would ask someone who had it. I am far from expert "even on the implements I own" but if memory serves the 4690A is not a 9' hoe. I think it is 7.5' but will check my documentation and update the post if I am wrong. Maybe someone else knows off the top of their head and can respond.

So far I have been impressed with the performance but recommend you post your question about a 9' hoe on the 3010?

Sorry about that. I was thinking of the woods 9000 backhoe when you said 4690A for some reason. Sorry about that.
