I own a Kubota 3000dt. Early 2000’s model. The steering column becomes loose as the bolts holding it back out. As they are through holes when it gets loose it leaks hydraulic fluids. The tiny metric fine threads stripped years ago and former owner retaped with a course standard bolt and it is better but still backs out. Any suggestions to hold the bolts in better? Or a more permanent fix? Thought about wiring the nuts together to prevent movement and loosening but don’t know that will work.

All ideas welcome

Thanks
Thomas
