The dealer tells me the High-Low lever is broken inside and they have to split the case. I would like to do this myself. Where can I get a manual that shows how, I have searched on line with no luck.

If it were me I'd call Neil Messick.They probably have a L3000DT shop manual from back in the day they could sell you,or steer you in right direction.

What a great company. They send you the parts manual by email and told me not to buy it since it is free from them. Bought other parts from them (ED) was a great help.
