l3000 dt lift problems

I just purchased this tractor for a finish grade unit for my landscape business. York rake,box etc. I own Ford and Massey's but needed something lighter for final grades. After messing around with it in the yard i am discovering that the 3 point does not act like my other tractors. I move the 3 point control and the lift arms don't react until a certain point, then they jump up 2 inches, no smooth movement. Surely these can't be designed this way as they would be extremely difficult to hold a consistent grade. Any help appreciated, Dave

Oh no , a lot of people have had gripes and pains , myself included , do a search on 'jerky 3 point hitch' there is a huge amount of data on it .
And yes Kubota thinks this method of operation if acceptable .
