L2850 rusted clutch and flywheel

Does anyone have any advice on a clutch and flywheel for an L2850?

It seems the tractor wasn't driven from march until the summer and the firewall may have rusted against the flywheel.

The tractor will start in gear and move. The pedal is spongy and won't release back to neutral.

Any help is appreciated.

Lot's of discussion about that common occurance. It's normally curable.
