L2850 elect problem fusible link info needed

I have 12.6 volts to my starter but nothing to my panel, no lights no nothing. I suspect the fusible link. Can some one tell me how to remove it. I tugged on it and it didn't want to come out of the white molex type connector. does that connector come apart? if so how or do I need to tug harder.

The white plug pulls apart. (may need to press the side) You can temporarily use a piece of house wire instead of the red wire. Part should be 38430-34530 - $7 at Messick's
