I'm looking to buy a tractor. I'm considering a L2800 or L3240. I own 10 acers, of which 2 acers will be used for the home and lawn. The remaining 8 acers will be left in pasture or used for other purposes. I would be using the tractor for mowing the pasture, loader work, tilling, and such. I know the 2800 will be big enough to handle a double bottom plow, but I like the options like the new hydro system on the 3240. I would appreciate any comment on what I should buy. Thank you.

Just traded my one year old L3240HST FEL Loaded tire with 35 hours to Barlows. If they still have it you can save some money and get the L.

They are, Somerset. Kubota Package Builder ad usually on the top of this page. They deliver all over the US. Hoping they get an Alaskian purchaser and they may let me ride with them on the delivery.

I'd say that the L3240 is a nicer machine. It's a fair about heavier, has a larger foot print, a much stronger loader and a bigger price tag.
I think it might be worth considering the L3400 over the L2800 if you are considering the L3240 because the extra PTO HP might count when it comes to some tilling and mowing tasks.

If money is no issue then the Grand L wins, It has more HP, better position control, PTO, 3pt lift arms, more hydraulics.....etc
