Price Check L2800 Price OK or not?

I've been given a quote of $14.6K for a package of LT2800DT (4WD), FEL , 5ft Bushhog & 5ft Box Blade. Is this a good deal?

I checked it and didnt see the model you mentioned, but I did see a L2900DT (4 wd) for $10,652-12,202.

Given the price of the attachments, Id say your quote was pretty close. Not a killer deal, but probably not too bad.

Ive heard that there is a tractor blue book that dealers have access to. Maybe someone on this board can look up the actual numbers.

cajun,sounds like a fair price .i am in alabama area and paid 10,000 for L2800dt and had kubota loader added for 3150 which was lowest i could find it .already had bushog and box and finish mower.so as you can see the tractor and loader here was 13,285 tax and all.

CajunRider, what dealership are you pricing your new Kubota? I'm also in Louisiana (Houma) and purchased a new L2800 in November. I did not get a 4x4 or front end loader, but ended up with a really good deal at just $8800. I purchased locally from M&L Industries but had to really work the salesman to get the price I got. You may want to call Sammy Broussard Tractor in New Iberia, they seem to have really good prices and shouldn't be too far from you.

The price was from a dealer in Houston. I got a higher one from Lake Charles that I didn't mention.

Sounds good to me. Matter of fact, that is the price I paid last spring for the same package--L2800DT, FEL, 5' shredder, and 5' box.
You may want to wait a bit and check out the 2005 L2800 with HST. If you're ready to buy now, take the price from the Houston dealer to the Lake Charles dealer and ask him to match it.
