Price Check L2800 HST and FEL, is this price good?

Howdy y'all,

From what I've read, the prices are regional, so I may not find any help with this.

I'm in Birmingham, AL.

The tractor I'm spec'n is:
1) L2800 HST
2) R4 tires
3) LA463 FEL with 60" bucket

Total including tax: $16,593.22

He wrote something on the bid about a $2,356.00 discount (normally the price would have been around $19,000 w/out the discount).

I'm going to take this bid to some other stores and compare, just thought I'd check here to see what people thought.

Can' t tell where you are from but here in north Texas I just got a quote for $15,468 for identical setup. This doesn't include tax if you have to pay it.

That's just an "ok" price based on what I've seen in my area.

I paid 16500, for an L3400 HST,R4 tires and the 463 Loader in
Southern Indiana. This did not include tax.

So, from what I can tell so far, the price is about $800 or so too high.

I'll see what I can get the other dealers to bid. Hope it's lower!

I'm in the market for the identical tractor (L2800HST w/FEL and R4 tires). My local dealer quoted $15,995. I think there is a little more room (about $500) to negociate. Does anyone have any recommendations on other factory options that are a "must have". I'm thinking about the foldable ROPS, but not sure whether or not it is worth it. I'm also going to get a 5' box blade and 5' brush cutter. I'm thinking that those should be about $1000 for both. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd be interested too, as I'm going to go and try to finalize a deal this weekend (if I can get them to come down on the price

Approx how much additional does the foldable ROPS cost?

Any other things that I should ask them to throw in?

A 5' BB is a little narrow...65" would be best to cover your tracks.
