L2600dt seller says it has 200hrs and 1700 miles

Never knew Kubota had odometer, what could the seller be looking at, swears it's miles. Don't want to call this guy out. Any of guys ever heard of miles on a Kubota? Appreciate any help, tractor is 2.5 hrs away, can't just swing by the place. Thanks

1,700 divided by 200 is 8.5. If that's really an odometer, then at least you know the guys works fast if he's averaging 8.5mph.

I actually have no idea what the 1,700 could be, but it's not miles. It's probably his tachometer telling him his engine was turning at 1,700rpm at the moment he checked the hours.

Maybe it's 1700 hours (which makes more sense for a tractor of that age) and the 200 is a mystery.

If the price is very attractive, I would consider it a scam. Have seen it done around me where they put random info and see what sticks. Craigslist deal?

My thought exactly. The idiots that write the phony ads always get something wrong in the description of the item.

Ask the seller to take a photo of what he is looking at and e-mail it to you. Along with a few other pictures of the tractor as well.

Sounds like a scam, if you ask to view it, it's likely already in a shipping container ready for delivery..
