Can you post a video of the sound you’re experiencing?

Have you completed the 50hr service? Have you checked all your fluid levels?

Mike

All levels checked, 50 hour service was done including greasing.

Trying to add the noise video but this app is not working. Stay tuned for noise video

With 60 hrs on it you take it straight back to the dealer ...do not take no for an answer and get it diagnosed. No matter whether someone thinks it is under warrantee or not. I would think surely someone in the picture (Kubota? Dealer?) would back it.

Yep. I am getting sick of the problems with this new machine.

Absolutely. Put it right in the lap of your dealer to solve the issue. It may not be serious but it is their responsibility.

I must comment that buying a brand new tractor these days does not even resemble buying a new car ! There is literally always something wrong. Sometimes way worse than others. It is not right (and does infuriate all of us) but that's the way things are these days.

Tractors are not as complicated at cars so in theory they should have less problems. 15 years ago I bought an L4740 kubota and it was first rate. Now I’m thinking the next one I may go with an Korean or some other brand because I’m dealing with problems anyways and paying the to dollar.

They have been showing up to solve the problems thou which I may not get if I went with cheeper imports.

I purchased my Kubota l2502 new about 10 months ago. It started out a bit ruff with smoking issues which was fixed by the dealer by fixing the timing, 2. a sticky loader caused by the control lever that was tighten to much, 3. loader would not go up because the shipping plastic on the hose was not removed before installed and the seat froze so seat sensor would not activate so couldn’t move the tractor. All bugs have been worked out and since then the tractor impressed me with its snow removal, tilling, bush hogging, stability capabilities.

6 foot tiller was for my 47 hp tractor but the L2502 25 hp tilled my exsisting garden fine, 2. crazy amount of frozen snow last year in one storm. The trucks could move the snow but I could blown it, 3. bush hogging 5 foot brush and weeds was a breeze.

When the pto is under high strain it does have a loud whine. Guess I’ll have to see how that works out but I’m beginning to like this tractor a lot.

Glad to hear you've gotten the kinks ironed out. The L2501's enjoy a solid reputation, and hopefully that continues with the L2502 machines.
My last 2 Kubota tractors came new with a couple of very minor problems, but nothing like you experienced.

Interesting the issues you have had with your 2502. I purchased a 2502 exactly a year ago and now have well over a 100 hours on it with ZERO issues. I have worked this tractor very hard and also done a ton of tilling putting in a large garden and deer food plots. Have not heard any whining coming from the PTO. I love this tractor! Hope you figure it out soon and it's an easy fix.

I cannot get your sound/video to come up. Regardless as I said to start with you really out to put this square in the lap of the dealer where you bought it and insist on evaluation and repair.
