Guys;

I have been unable to find results of lever tension adjustment on PTO lever. I have a damaged right shoulder and I need to loosen it for easier manipulation. Everything works great but lever takes about (guessing) 10 pond to move. It is not notchy or anything just tight. Throttle is the same but I think I can handle that. I am contemplating cruise control any opinions.

The throttle can be loosened up by backing the two nuts under the dash. Don’t get it too loose or the throttle will reduce speed by itself. Took me a few tries until it suited me.
I busted my right wrist a while ago and found the factory set throttle to be problematic.

Are you talking about the three point lift lever?

To engage the PTO or to Lift the 3 point hitch?

As for the cruise control, I have it on my tractor but rarely use it (or even think about using it). I don't mind using my foot on the HST pedal.

On my L2501 the PTO became very hard to move. The upper lever is attached by a cable to the lower level. Mine began to bind up and it was cured by PB Blaster on both levers and some add to the cable itself. Work it back and forth and see if that makes enough improvement to help you.

Had to do the same thing to my old L3200. Only some minor engine tweaks between the L3200 & L2501.

Which lever is it, PTO or position control?
