l2500 hyd oil change ques

found the three drain plugs for the hydraulic fluid and my book shows two fill ports-one by the gearshift lever-other behind the seat-[not sure about this one and how one tells when these rear cavities have been filled sufficently] front cavity has a sight glass------anyone done one of these-don't want to overfill or underfill------thanks for any info

just talked to a dealer and he said one can use either one of the fill ports- odd but we'll check it closely-- interesting

On my l2500 between the rear end and the gear case in side there is a hole between the two that let's fluid run from back to front.
Only reason I know is I rebuilt a wreaked L2500DT tractor if your not sure you can use a brazing rod to check the gear case.

thats kinda what the dealer alluded to ----said filling through either would fill the other one---wonder why the "two" fill ports though-
