L2250. Trying to help a friend.

A friend of mine passed away several years ago. He had inherited his Dad's L2250 years earlier. It looks rough, but only has 1007 hours on it. There is a fuel leak near where your right foot be while driving. Water separator maybe? (Sorry this sounds goofy, but I didn't see the leak). It's equipped with a loader and a mid mount mower. I plan to get it running, and sell it for his wife. What is a fair price once running and cleaned up? TIA

Any idea of what the leak may be? I offered to take a look and see if I could fix it.

I would bet it's either Fuel, anti freeze, or hydraulic oil.

First you need to determine what it is, then look for the cause.

I had an L2250 and had a fuel leak at the water separator. If you find out the liquid is fuel, check that area. Very easy fix with a new housing, gasket, etc..
Good luck. Value tends to vary geographically and by supply. Tractor house is a good place to look.

Thank you guys. I need to see the leak, but from the description I'm thinking it's at the filter. Good tractor, but I think it sat in the sun too long. Needs TLC, and a seat.
