L 48

I priced an L 48 at my dealer today, L-48 TLB rather. Is $37K
seemed a little high to me. But what do I know. Im guessing I can get a 4000 twenty series JD a little cheaper.

Compare it to the JD 110. Both have their advantages. I had a L48 TL several years ago. I would also want to check out the JD twenty series if I was in the market for a tractor. The main reason for selling my L48 was not being able to remove the loader. While an integral loader is advantageous for loader work, for mowing it's a nuisance.

Theres a reason why the B21/L35 and L48 are more expensive than other tractors of the same horsepower, other tractors are agricultural tractors but the Kubota B and L's i listed are for landscaping, they are just overall better and have a set purpose. While the 4000 is useful for many implements, the L48 is good for backhoe work, small enuff to fit into small places and tons of horsepower.

The 4000 and L48 are not even in the same league. As was said the L48 is a direct comparison to the JD110 and the 4000 series lines up with Kubota's L.
