L 2900 fuel cell removal

I have a L2900 kubota I take good care of it ,I was using it the other day and it started a diesel leak I traced it to the bottom of fuel cell and tried to remove it after two days of working on it and not getting any closer to removing the cell i had to replace all parts .How do you remove the fuel cell from the L 2900 tractor its got me baffled.

Welcome, If it is like my L3000, you just start taking brackets loose, until the fuel tank is free..It was a lengthy job to do on mine.. Maybe they changed the design on yours...you can get a parts diagram off the web. It will show all the attaching parts...Make notes on the lengths of the bolts as you take them out...a Tip, If your machine does not have a shutoff valve right at the tank, then put one there..You will thank me in the future, when you change fuel filters..
