Tiller Kuhn L32 rototiller-need help plz

Hello all! This is my first post but I have gotten alot of questions answered just by reading. Anyway, I put my tiller on my B7800 Kubota tractor today to do the fall tilling. I tilled my neighbors garden with no problem. When I started tilling mine, it worked fine at first. Then it got loud and now it won't till into the ground. The blades turn fine until I drop it to the ground to work. I checked the chain case and can't see any oil. My question is what kind of oil do I put into it? Should I check the gearbox if I can get it to open? Thank you in advance.

Assuming you do not have a limited slip PTO shaft clutch-

I would most certainly say that you have a broken shear pin which explains why it runs when its out of the ground.

The gear oil you need is at least a 90 wieght gear oil.
