I just bought an older Kuhn dmd 66 it is in fair shape at best, I was wondering if someone could tell me the proper way to check the bar oil for I fear it leaks a little and the bar is so rusty I don't think I can get it apart. Also how do I set the mower up it seems that when I have it at cutting height and i raise the bar up the inside main skid digs into the ground I did not know if I was suppose to raise the three point first or if the three settings on the spring had something to do with it, it is set on the middle setting. And last does anyone have a inexpensive way to make a tarp its not worth the 3-400 they want for a new one, really its not worth more than probably 50.00 any other suggestions would be appreciated I am just getting into hay for a homeschool project 4-5 acres of bermuda in tennessee J.D. 336 baler Kuhn tedder old 4 wheel rake and this mower.
