How wide is the curtis blade?From the pic I'm guessing 6'.You have enough width to angle it and clear tire spread?I was checking the Curtis site and was looking a little wider, they had 3 trip springs and a higher moldboard.Just a mention in case your dealer is like our local one who only carries the 6' one.That is a nice looking setup, the day mine arrived we were waist deep in snow/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

The photos do make everything look smaller than life, actually the Curtis measures 7 feet, and bottom of cutting edge to top of moldboard is 2 feet. It only has 2 return springs, but I noticed a position for a third. I have 15 hours on the 4610 as of today. The battery has been boiling over and caused quite a bit of corrosion to the cowl, apparently it has been going on for awhile. The tractor had 4 hours on it and has been on the lot since last year. I will have them check the charging circuit as well as replace the battery and corroded body parts when it goes in for the hoe subframe. Seems to be working fine otherwise, although I hear odd noises now and then, but I keep telling myself-"its a tractor, not a BMW". I'm very pleased with the power, plenty to spare and I only open the throttle up to give it a variety of breakin speeds. This is the first Hydro trans. I've worked, but have run quite a few "shuttle" varieties. I find myself sneaking into places that I never considered with my gear drive even though it was a much smaller tractor. It will definately be a cold day in Hades before I will willingly go back to a gear drive!
