Kubota WG600-B coil question

I have acquired a Kubota WG-600-B 3 cylinder gas engine. Original installation unknown. The two wires coming from the distributor are not connected. The repair manual shows they connect to the + and - side of the coil but not which wire to which side. I am hesitant to guess because I may fry something in the distributor? Any suggestions? Thanks Mitch

Are their points in the distributor? KennyV

No points. That is what worries me about guessing. If it had points I'd flip a coin. Maybe it doesn't matter and I am concerned for nothing.

Follow up for someone doing a search for the same information. The brown and white wire goes to the plus side of the coil.
