Kubota VS WIX/NAPA oil filters

The video was comparing an OEM Kubota to a Wix/Napa 1365 which is not the correct cross reference. I use Wix 51064 on my Kubota (or OEM whichever is more convenient at the time). The 1064 is comparable and maybe a little smaller than OEM, but not much difference.

That said the Kubota filters are stoutly built. I have used only Kubota for hydraulic and fuel filters and about half of the time for oil and air. Price is about the same, but my dealer is 15 miles away and I don't drive that way very often.

Sorry you do not get a pass on that, he compared the filter that WIX SAYS FITS THE BX Kubota applications, WIX is doing a horrible job specifying filters on the BXs too small of a oil filter and a useless 50 micron screen for the fuel filter. Maybe WIX should make the proper filter for the application do not think I could get the 51064 on the BX2230 or the G2160

I’m not sure how he came up with that cross ref. Look it up in the Wix site or put Kubota GH150-32094 in the Napa site and they both say 1064.

I think the 1064 is very slightly larger Dia than Kubota. No issue fitting in my bx2200.

Wix 51334 is the second alternative on wix’s site with the difference being larger case and lower bypass setting. That is the filter that fits many Honda’s and is the only cross reference to Fram 3593A. The lower bypass is enough of a reason for me not to use those.

51365 is not mentioned for a Kubota.

I personally saw an ingersoll rand roller with a 25 hp Kubota engine go over 8000 hours when traded with 400 hour oil change intervals and wix 1064.

I use a lot of oem filters but Wix makes a great line of filters for almost everything. There are some exceptions such as fuel filters for Kubota.

WiX says 51365 for BX2370 D902
51365 for BX2360 D902
51365 for BX2350 D902
51358 for BX2230 D902

51064 for BX2200 D905

Yes NOBODY MAKES AN EQUIVALENT KUBOTA INLINE FUEL FILTER for the Kuboa engines, the only other decent source for fuel filters other then Kubota is KUMAR Brothers on Ebay and they are making all types of engine rebuild parts also.

Have a friend with one of those rollers with the Kubota and it has a bunch of hours on it, came from an auction and they got it cheap but still runs.
