Kubota vs MF

I'm looking at a kubota L3400DT with fel to match. What series of the MF would be the one to compare to.

I don't know much about the Massey tractors and asked a similar question in this section about comparing a JD to what Massey product. One person was kind enough to respond. I suggest you go to the Massey web site where they talk about their new models. Also, the home page for this site has a review of the new Massey line. Good luck.

I think that you would be looking at a MF 1433v or a 1533.

I just recently went through the comparisons you are making. I can't accurately recall the exact model numbers, but the MF comparable tractors were the 15xx machines I believe. This is the new line introduced which is greatly improved on comfort, standard features, and looks.

I felt that the MF product in the 30-35 hp range was comparable to the Kioti product, but at greater cost.

I was able to purchase the L3400DT for much less than either of the above. I have been extremely happy with my purchase. Tough, well made, nimble, strong, no-nonsense, well-known brand, low-cost machine. The MF and Kioti products definitely have more standard features, and great styling...I just couldn't bring myself to pay more for them.

Many machines were ruled out within 2 minutes of driving them.

What Kubota dealer(s) have you been to thus far, and where is there a M-F dealer in the area? I live in Purcellville.

If you are comparing a DT model to a MF, look at the MFs models with a "V" at the end of the model number (ex. MF1433v). The "V" stands for value.
