Anyone using a different oil than the actual Kubota oil? I have seen a couple brands that say they meet the specs. It will be used in one with the hyd shuttle.

do a search since this has been talked about lots of time...Amsoil makes a product and so do a few others. Kubot is overpriced fluids in my eyes.

There is replacements that are said to meet udt specs but none I have found that meet the super udt specs.

I use NAPA's house brand heavy duty hydraulic oil. It meets or exceeds Kubota UDT, and a bunch of others. Not SUDT though. Haven't had any problems.

I am running a generic brand from Wallyworld. I put it in temporarily last summer to flush out contaminated fluid. But then one thing led to another and winter came along.... It worked fine, the hydro was quiet, even on cold days. That being said I have bought UDT and will switch back.
